Mahmoud Mohammed: born in 1992, he studied political science and economics at Cairo University. In 2017 he received a scholarship from the DAAD to carry out the master's program in Public Economics, Law and Politics in Germany. He then studied sociology for a master's degree at the University of Hamburg. During his studies he worked as a social researcher for the Middle East at the GIGA Institute in Hamburg. He also worked as a field researcher at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research in the FOCUS project "Forced Displacement and Refugee-Host Community Solidarity". Through his work he became deeply involved with refugees and their lives and concerns in Germany. On a personal level, he is concerned with issues of social justice, postcolonialism and sustainability. In his free time he is involved with his initiative for the environment and sustainability, or he is dancing with friends. He has been with MobiJob since November 2022 and supports consultations in German, Arabic and English.
